Yellow Flower Cafe in Ubud

One of the most enjoyable places for us and our 8month baby. Good food (the granola muesli was our favorite breakfast) and really beautiful people. Away from the crazy town center of ubud.

This location is a bit of a challenge to find, but well worth it. There are stairs from the main Street that will lead you up to the neighborhood. Serene views, location is very clean and staff is beyond friendly. Ambience is relaxing. Food was very delicious and well balanced. Many options revolve around began, but there are eggs and a few other options for non veg. I highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting ubud.

So so tasty. Awesome place for clean, healthy and interesting takes on local dishes. We ate here about 4 times in a week. Also, awesome view.

A very nice place to take a breakfast or just to drink something. I was there a few times with my girlfriend, the staff is very friendly and the food and drinks are gorgeous. My favourite was the buffet dinner every Sunday, look at the picture :)

This is one of my favourite cafes in the area. Tucked in an elevated position amongst lush greenery and away from noisy streets (stairs = no scooter noise), Yellow Flower cafe feels like a respite from the heat and noise of Ubud. Their food is delicious and healthy! As I recall they source their ingredients from local farms. Their vegetarian nasi campur is my favourite nasi campur so far! And their smoothie bowls are inventive & filling. Yellow Flower has a small kitchen and service is relaxed so don’t expect super fast service. There is decent wi-fi so you can also bring the laptop and do some work. The background music is mellow and relaxing. Highly recommend 💛

Nothing really to write home about.This place gets voted one of the top breakfast places in Ubud on lots of lists, but frankly, I just don't see it. Maybe it was better last year.Don't get me wrong the cafe is lovely, the staff are lovely too. My advice is that I wouldn't walk more than 10 minutes to get here and not really worth the walk up the Penestanan Stairs.If your one of those people that like to photograph your food. The food here is not that impressive looking either. However, you will get some amazing photos of the cafe and the view. When you take into account the pricing here I would recommend you make the 7-minute walk to Zest.

Beautiful spot with view over Ubud. Had the Tropical Fruit Smoothie, which was delicious, super fresh and so cheap. Very friendly service, too.

Place with the very nice view not far from Ubud Centre, but a bit hidden.

We stayed at an Airbnb owned by Budi and Anna (the owners of Yellow flower Cafe). It's a hidden gem - food and views are amazing. Legit balinese food. I would suggest coming in the morning hours of 6:30 or afternoon at 4:30ish to see the view.

Amazing hid away spot. Delicious smoothie bowls & drinks. Guy next to me ordered Nasi Campur which looked sooo yummy! Friendly personnel. Able to pay by creditcard.

Very nice place over here. Between a very narrow street. For me it was easy to find. We ordered here a fruit bowl. That was very delicious. Also a great view

This place deserves it's fantastic rating! After a bit of a stroll to find the place you are welcomed to a well decorated space and greeted by friendly staff. They pride themselves on sourcing local produce and preparing their dishes to a high standard. They did not dissapoint on our visit and we enjoyed many great dishes, all well prepared, seasoned and presented beautifully. And all at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Lovely view and delicious food and drinks (the chocolate smoothie (with banana and raw chocolate) is great!) A little bit expensive, but it will be worth it.

You should try this place at least once during your stay in Ubud! The location is subtly tucked away from the busy part. It's a bit pricey but food's healthy and tasty!

This place is a dream. It’s nestled in nature and the setting is gorgeous. Food was incredibly inexpensive, all made with high quality ingredients, and beautifully presented. The staff is kind and attentive and wifi is fast. Don’t come here if you’re in a rush, but if you do come here, enjoy the slower pace of things - it’s lovely.

Organic authentic Balinese Buffet every Sunday 5:30 to 7:30, this place is a must while in Ubud. It is the best organic restaurant in Ubud! Hidden gem , amazing view overlooking Ubud, it’s really quiet too, and with mostly vegan and vegetarian dishes , they do have a few egg and chicken dishes. Everything I have tried on the menu has been great! I usually get the gado gado, I’m vegan so I ask for no egg , and also no tofu or tempeh, they just add extra veggies instead, the staff is always very Friendly and accommodating. If your belly needs comfort food I recommend the freshly cut and cooked sweet potato chips that are cooked in fresh pressed organic coconut oil. For dessert or breakfast try the gluten free Balinese pancake!

This beautiful organic cafe is perched on the hill above the busy crowd of Ubud. From there you can look upon the starting point of the ridge walk. (Useless to say the view is incredible) As many organic cafe, it is a bit more expensive than usual.. however we had the best breakfast ever! Healthy, fruity and tasty! We recommend the smoothie bowls (which are probably the best of Bali), then you walk down the stairs and you start the ridge walk. This is how you can start a perfect day!

Bad service, dirty table with a bunch of ants and divorces. Prices are above average for such a place. A toast with avocado and feta cheese on an ordinary baguette costs 70k. I waited until they make 30 minutes. Shakshuka: two boiled eggs with vegetables and 3 pieces of bread, not at all tasty. A waiter brought a spoon for a smoothie to a bowla without a napkin and simply put it on a dirty table. And the prices do not include taxes.

Lovely food and fast, friendly service. Lots on the menu for vegans! Lovely setting up in the tree tops. One minute you're walking along a path and next there are people eating all around you! Highly recommend and would definitely go back. They also took USD which was really helpful.

On the expensive spectrum of price (considering of what you get), but the cafe has a nice feeling, humble, and relaxing atmosphere. The staff is also friendly and eager to please.

Food was amazing! Pasta with Ratatouille was great! Locally crafted jewelry was a little pricey.

Slow service, dirty place. Super overrated. I ordered the savory pancake and i got a cold bland piece of dough with uncooked veggies. Not what you would expect at all. Please enjoy the hair in your food too!!

I personally love this place. It’s good food, good value (not the cheapest but I was disappointed at cheaper places..) lovely surrounds and just never busy. Plus the staff are happy, chatting and laughing together. We had the smoothie bowls, coffee, FAT, sweet half coconut (REALLY yum) and are going back on our last night here to try the buffet. Also they were kind and not fussed when on two occasions we were a tad short on money to pay!

One of Ubud's gems. The tempe was delicious, the setting sublime. And I can't remember a better cup of coffee.

Nicely located cafe yes but I don’t get the positive ratings... Quality of food is unfortunately only Warung average and everything is highly overpriced! I can understand to charge more for a nice view (only 3 tables with that view...) but it seems their main focus is max income... staff not particular kind, high waiting time even for a coffee, service react „disappointed“ if you just want a coffee. There are so many better places to eat, have a good coffee or just chill than the yellow flower cafe!

We came here for breakfast, lunch and dinner during our time in Ubud, and loved everything we had. It was all fresh, flavourful and clearly prepared with love. By far my favourite thing about this spot are the insane views of Mount Agung on a clear day. Service can be a tad slow at times, but it doesn't matter because you're in Bali and time ticks a bit slower (and more peaceful) there anyway :-)

Great family run restaurant and cafe with very healthy, organic food. Very relaxing, comfortable and so pretty! A wonderful "secret" spot. Amazing view over the valley in Ubud. Friendly service with a smile. Local produce. Every Sunday they have a traditional Bali buffet starting at 5pm for 94.000 IDR (about $9 Aus) Such an awesome place. Love it

Nice location. Great views of mount Agung on a clear sunny day. Comfy seating arrangement and styling overall. Had a lot of menu options, however they had run out of some ingredients for the day (seems to be the case in most places in Bali.. so we got used to it), besides that staff are nice and friendly. The food was well presented and tasted good. Best part for me was all cooking done in coconut oil.
